It is an unusual combination: the rear pad shape used on the Royal Enfield Continental GT 650 is also made by Accossato in Off-road sintered, its compound for off-road riders. Accossato lists AGPP91 in this mixture for the Continental GT 650 from 2020 to 2025. It suits owners who have taken their café racer in a scrambler direction, with knobbly tyres and high bars, or who regularly ride gravel lanes, dusty farm tracks and muddy unmade roads to reach their favourite spots.

Construction and Material Quality
Accossato calls STMX its compound for off-road riders. The idea is simple: dirt, grit, water and dust reach the brakes when riding off the tarmac, and the rear pad needs to be able to cope with this. Like all Accossato pads, STMX is designed to wear slowly, limit fading through controlled heating and provide dependable stopping power.
Unpaved Roads and Scrambler Builds
Café racer conversions into scramblers are a popular project, and the Continental GT 650 is a common base. Once the bike goes onto gravel, the rear brake becomes a steering aid: a light touch settles the rear on a loose descent or helps to turn the bike on a dusty hairpin.
Grit and mud reach the rear caliper sooner than the front. After a dusty day, wash the caliper with water, blow out the dirt and check that the pads slide freely. Look at the disc for scoring, as sand can mark the surface.
Cleaning After the Ride
If you have ridden through a ford or a muddy lane, dry the brake by gently dragging it on the way home, then clean the caliper properly before the bike is put away. This prevents corrosion and keeps the pedal feel consistent the next time you ride.
Fitment and Compatibility
Accossato lists AGPP91 for the rear of the Royal Enfield Continental GT 650 from 2020 to 2025. The front pad of the bike is AGPA92, and the Accossato disc for the model is DKS035. Replace both rear pads together and check the thickness of the disc when doing so.
Road Approval
No ABE or German test document is available to us for this pad. It is sold for competition use only.
