DescriptionThe whole story▼
Multi-day enduro events push a KTM 450 EXC-F through every kind of terrain, and the rear brake gets no break from the mud, sand and stones. Accossato lists its AGPP80 rear pad in the Off-road sintered mixture, code STMX, for the 450 EXC-F from 2004 to 2023. It is the brand's compound for off-road riders and suits enduro racers who ride multi-day events, cross rivers and sand, and maintain their bike themselves between stages.

Construction and Material Quality
Accossato's description of STMX is its compound for off-road riders. The lining is mounted on the AGPP80 plate. Accossato, now located in Villastellone near Turin, also emphasises durability, heat control and strong braking for its pads, all qualities that matter over a long event.
Multi-Day Events and Self-Service
On a multi-day enduro, riders often have limited time and tools to maintain their bike. The rear brake takes a beating from mud, sand, stones and river crossings, and it has to last through each day's stages. A compound designed for off-road riding is meant to cope with that. Riders who plan ahead fit fresh rear pads before the event and check them at each service stop, so they can decide quickly whether a change is needed.
At the end of each day, rinse the rear caliper gently and look at the lining. When fitting new pads, clean the piston and pump the pedal until firm before heading out. A small bag with a spare pair, a pin punch and some brake cleaner takes little room in a rider's backpack.
Fitment and Compatibility
Within Accossato's range, AGPP80 is the rear pad of the EXC-F 450 for all years from 2004 to 2023. Its front counterpart is AGPA29, sold separately in the same compound family, and the brand's discs DK017, DK018 and DK259 are catalogued for the bike too. Riders preparing for a multi-day event often pack one spare set per end. Before the first stage, compare the outline of the old rear pad with the new one to be certain.
Road Approval
We have no ABE or German test certificate for AGPP80STMX. It is intended for off-road sport.
