DescriptionThe whole story▼
Every supermoto circuit has its off-road section, and on the KTM 450 SMR the rear caliper collects that dirt lap after lap. Accossato lists its AGPP80 rear pad in the Off-road sintered mixture, code STMX, for the 450 SMR from 2004 to 2025, including the Factory Replica of 2004 to 2007. It is Accossato's compound for off-road riders and suits supermoto racers whose tracks have long or muddy dirt sections, as well as owners who also ride the bike off-road.

Construction and Material Quality
Accossato introduces STMX as its compound for riders who go off-road. The lining is fixed to the standard AGPP80 plate. The Italian company, which won the Enduro World Championship title in 1985, also names long life, controlled heat and strong braking as goals for its pads.
The Off-Road Section
A supermoto lap often includes a jump, a few tight dirt turns and a rough exit back onto the tarmac. In that section the rear brake helps to control the bike on landing and to turn it in loose soil. The rear caliper gets packed with dirt, which then travels onto the asphalt part of the lap. A compound designed for off-road use keeps working in those conditions. For riders whose tracks have long or wet dirt sections, it is a logical choice for the rear.
After racing, rinse the rear caliper gently and let it dry. Inspect the lining and the disc before the next event, and clean the piston before fitting new pads.
Fitment and Compatibility
Model coverage is broad: the SX 450 SMR from 2004 all the way to 2025, plus the limited SX 450 SMR Factory Replica of 2004 to 2007. This STMX set is for the rear caliper only; the front of the SMR takes Accossato's AGPA106, listed from 2013. Discs are available too, as DK018 and DK259. It is worth taking the old pad out and comparing its outline with the new one on the bench before the race weekend.
Road Approval
We have no ABE or German test mark for AGPP80STMX. It is intended for motorsport.
