DescriptionThe whole story▼
A Husqvarna TE 300 ridden in hard enduro spends its day in rock gardens, streams and deep mud, and the rear brake is packed with dirt within minutes. Accossato's rear pad AGPP80 in the Off-road sintered compound, SKU AGPP80STMX, is designed for that and listed for model years 2014 to 2023, including the TE 300 i. It is for riders who tackle extreme events or the hardest local trails and want a rear lining developed specifically for mud and grit.
Key Features
- STMX rear pads for the Husqvarna TE 300 and TE 300 i

- Accossato's compound for off-road riders
- Built for rock gardens, streams and mud
- Helps hold the bike on steep, loose climbs
- OR and ST offered on the same back
- Off-road competition use
Construction and Material Quality
Accossato gives STMX a one-line brief: the lining for riders who head off-road. On the TE 300 it comes bonded to the AGPP80 steel back and replaces the stock rear pad directly. The company, which now works from Villastellone outside Turin, has supplied the dirt scene for decades, and this recipe is intended for brakes that are never clean, never dry and never free of rock dust.
Holding the Bike on Loose Climbs
Every hard enduro rider knows the moment when a climb stops halfway up. The rear brake is then the only thing keeping the TE 300 from sliding back down while the rider looks for a new line. Minutes later, the same pedal is dabbed between rock steps to stop the bike from lurching. All of this happens with a caliper stuffed with mud, the exact situation this lining is meant for. Post-event, flush the caliper gently, scrape out packed dirt and measure what lining is left.
Wipe the piston clean before retracting it for new pads, then work the pedal until firm pressure returns.
Fitment and Compatibility
Accossato lists AGPP80 for the rear brake of the Husqvarna TE 300 (2014 to 2020) and TE 300 i (2018 to 2023). The front brake of both uses AGPA29, and the discs DK017 and DK018 are also offered. For dry trail days, OR is the softer option. Compare the worn pads with this set before fitting it to the TE 300.
Road Approval
We have no ABE or test paperwork for this STMX set, so it is offered for enduro competition.
Scope of Delivery
