DescriptionThe whole story▼
Cross-country racing on a Honda CRF250RX combines everything that wears brakes out: sand, mud, water crossings and long races with no time to clean anything. For the rear of the CRF250RX from 2019 to 2026, Accossato lists the AGPP72 in its Off-road sintered mixture, called STMX. It is the version the company develops specifically for off-road riders, and it suits racers who spend their weekends on long, dirty loops and their evenings at the wash bay.

Construction and Material Quality
Accossato describes the STMX in one sentence: it is the mixture for off-road riders. For the rear of a cross-country bike, that covers grit, water and long hours of use. Accossato also applies its general aims of lasting wear, limited heat and consistent stopping. The pad sits on the same AGPP72 backing as the other versions.
Three Hours of Dirt
A cross-country race on a CRF250RX can last several hours, with sections through sand, water and deep mud. The rear brake works on every descent and in every tight corner, surrounded by abrasive dirt the whole time. A pad designed for these conditions is expected to keep working through the race without the rider having to think about it.
After the finish, the bike needs attention. Clean the rear caliper at low pressure, check that the pads move freely and measure how much friction material is left. Replace them early if they are thin. Clean the pistons before pushing them back, then press the pedal until it is firm.
Fitment and Compatibility
Accossato lists the AGPP72 for the rear of the CRF250RX from 2019 to 2026, with the discs DK012, DK107 and DK263 for the same model. The front of the RX is not part of this listing. OR and ST fit the same caliper. Compare the old pads with the new ones before fitting.
Road Approval
No ABE or German approval for the AGPP72STMX has been supplied to us. It is therefore offered for competition use.
