Tarmac is not the only surface an NK 800 sees. An unsurfaced farm road, the gravel car park at a rally, a forest track taken because it was the short way home: each of them throws dust and grit at the back wheel, and grit that reaches the rear caliper sets about whatever it finds there. Accossato answers that with the material it developed for riders who spend their time away from sealed roads, and on the AGPA29 rear pad it is sold as article AGPA29STMX for the CFMOTO NK 800 of 2024 to 2026.

Construction and Material Quality
The factory description of this article amounts to one line: it is the mixture made for riders who leave the road. That says where it is expected to work rather than how it feels, which is honest enough, because the surfaces it is drawn up for are the ones that finish ordinary material quickly. The plate beneath is the standard AGPA29 plate, shared with every other version of this pad, so nothing about fitting changes with the choice of compound.
When Grit Gets Between Pad and Disc
Dust is the real enemy at the back of a machine that leaves the tarmac. Fine material settles on the disc, is dragged between the faces and works like a polishing paste, and since the rear wheel does the throwing, its own brake gets the worst of it. Sand does the same job with more energy behind it, and wet clay simply packs into every gap it can reach.
What follows is more about water than about tools. Hose the back of the bike down while the mud is still soft, rinse through the caliper rather than around it, and let everything drain instead of standing wet in a garage. Then look at the pads. Uneven wear across the width of the material, or one side noticeably further down than the other, usually means the caliper has stopped sliding as freely as it should after a hard day.
Fitment and Compatibility
For the NK 800 this pad is listed from 2024 to 2026 at the rear only, where a single caliper makes one box a complete job. The front wheel is served by the AGPA96 over the same seasons and by the AGPA106 for 2024, and because the two overlap in that first year, match the pad rather than the model year. Accossato fits this AGPA29 shape to a number of other machines, which is why an order should quote the article number.
Road Approval
No German ABE and no test documents have come to us for the AGPA29STMX. It is therefore catalogued as a competition part and not as equipment for public roads.
