DescriptionThe whole story▼
The AGPP91 rear pad is shared between several BMW models, which is why the Off-road sintered (STMX) material appears in the listing for the BMW F900R of 2020 to 2026 alongside the two road materials. The F900R is a naked road machine and no one would call it a trail bike, so it is worth being clear about what this article number is and is not: it is the version Accossato mixes for riders who spend time on loose, dusty and gritty surfaces, and it is offered here because the plate fits.
Key Features
- Rear pads for the BMW F900R, model years 2020 to 2026, article number AGPP91STMX
- The off-road material from Accossato's range, on the familiar AGPP91 plate
- Mixed for dust, gravel and grit rather than for tarmac
- Two pads in the box, forming the complete rear caliper set
- Identical fitment to the road materials on the same plate
- For ordinary road use, the OR and ST versions are the ones drawn for the job
- AGPA177 is the front pad Accossato lists for this machine
- No German ABE on record; for competition and off-road use
Construction and Material Quality
The catalogue gives this material one job: riding away from sealed roads. That says more about working conditions than about outright force. Where the surface is loose, the disc is never clean, and a pad has to keep cutting through a layer of dust or paste while it is itself being sanded by the same material. A mix made for that has to tolerate abrasion and stay predictable when the disc is wet and gritty. None of it makes the material superior to the road versions on the same plate; it is drawn for a different environment, and in town it will simply be doing a job nobody has asked it to do. The box holds the two plates the rear caliper needs.
An Off-road Material Under a Road Bike
There are riders for whom this makes sense on an F900R. A bike kept at the end of a long farm track deals with flint and dust every day. A machine ridden in summer on white gravel roads in southern Europe collects the same kind of grit in its rear caliper. Somebody who takes a naked bike down unsealed lanes to reach a fishing spot or a green lane car park is asking the rear brake to work in conditions the road materials were not drawn around. If that describes your riding, this version is the honest choice, and the fitting is exactly the same as any other AGPP91. If it does not, and the F900R spends its life on tarmac in traffic and on weekend roads, the two road materials on the same plate will suit you better; there is no prize for fitting a harder pad than the job needs. Whichever you choose, clean the caliper carrier when the pads are out and check that they slide freely.
Fitment and Compatibility
Accossato's listing places the AGPP91 at the rear of the BMW F900R for 2020 to 2026, and the off-road material is one of three offered on that plate. A single box does the rear wheel, since there is one caliper. The front of the same bike takes the AGPA177 in four materials, and the DK006 and DK007 appear in the disc programme for the F900R. Nothing about the fitment changes with the material, so a rider can move between them at the next service.
Road Approval
We have no German ABE for this pad and no approval document to show. It is supplied for competition and for riding away from public roads.
Scope of Delivery
Two Accossato AGPP91 pads in the off-road material, packed as the set for the rear caliper of the F900R.
