DescriptionThe whole story▼
Summer enduro brings a different challenge: dry, dusty tracks, sandy sections and hard-packed trails where the WR250F is ridden fast and the front brake is used constantly. For the current Yamaha WR250F of 2022 to 2026, Accossato offers its AGPA288 front pad in the Off-road sintered (STMX) compound. It is intended for riders who push hard on dry trails and sand and want a front pad that is designed for abrasive, dusty conditions.

- AGPA288 front pad, STMX off-road compound
- Listed for the Yamaha WR250F, 2022 to 2026
- Accossato's compound for off-road riders
- Designed for dust, sand and hard-packed tracks
- Suits fast summer enduro riding
- One box, single front caliper
- ST version also offered
Construction and Material Quality
Accossato describes STMX simply as its compound for off-road riders, and we do not add technical claims. The idea behind a dedicated off-road mix is that it is intended to cope with abrasive dust and sand that would affect a road pad.
Dust and Sand
In dry summer conditions, fine dust coats everything, including the brake disc and pads. Sand is even more abrasive, and on sandy tracks the front brake of a WR250F is used to scrub speed before turns and on descents. STMX is designed for these conditions, with the aim of keeping the front brake usable when the environment is harsh. Riders on fast, hard-packed trails also need a front brake with consistent feel, since braking points come quickly at speed.
Caring for the Brake in Dry Conditions
After a dusty ride, blow dust out of the caliper, clean the pistons carefully and check the pads. Dust can accumulate and affect the sliding of the pads. Check the disc for scoring from sand.
Fitment and Compatibility
The front pad Accossato gives for the WR250F EFI built from 2022 to 2026 is AGPA288. Older model years take different pads, AGPA51 up to 2018 and AGPA110 from 2018 to 2021. For the rear, Accossato names AGPP106 across the WR250F range. The bike has one front caliper, so one box covers it. DK111, DK168, DK268 and DK269 are the Accossato discs listed alongside. Fit the pads, clean the pistons, and pump the lever until firm.
Road Approval
There is no German ABE or test documentation available. This pad is supplied for off-road competition use.
