The World Raid is the Ténéré 700 that Yamaha built for long off-road stages, with more fuel and longer-travel suspension. Owners who use it that way, on gravel roads, sandy pistes and rutted forest tracks, will want Accossato front pad AGPA29 in its Off-road sintered (STMX) compound. Accossato lists AGPA29 for the Ténéré 700 World Raid with the years 2022 to 2026, and STMX is its choice for riders who spend their time off the tarmac.

Construction and Material Quality
Accossato calls STMX its compound for off-road riders, and says no more. That is enough to show its purpose: pads that face grit, water and dust rather than clean tarmac. Accossato's general claims for its pads, long life, reduced fade and high stopping power, are included here as the company's statements. Accossato itself was founded in 1969 in Moncalieri near Turin.
Long Stages on Loose Ground
On a sandy piste or a gravel road, the front brake of a World Raid is used carefully: progressive squeezes rather than hard grabs, so that the front tyre does not dig in. Dust gets into everything, and water crossings wash the discs clean in a second. A compound built for these conditions is intended to keep responding through a long day of such treatment. For tarmac touring, ST is the better match, and EV1 for fast dry roads.
Care in Remote Places
After dusty or muddy stages, rinse the calipers with water when you can, check that the pads move freely and look at pad thickness every evening. Grit can wear pads much faster than road riding.
Fitment and Compatibility
AGPA29 is listed by Accossato for the XTZ 700 Ténéré World Raid, with 2022 to 2026 given as the years. The front wheel carries two calipers, so a full set means two boxes. Accossato's rear pad AGPP91 is also made in STMX, so both wheels can run the off-road compound.
Road Approval
AGPA29STMX is offered for off-road sport and competition, as no ABE or test documentation is available to us.
