Accossato makes the AGPA29 front pad for the Yamaha MT-15 155 in its Off-road sintered (STMX) compound, which it describes as its compound for off-road riders. The MT-15 is a street bike, so this is not the obvious choice. It makes sense where roads are rough: unpaved lanes, dusty rural tracks and gravel roads that some riders use every day. The pad is listed for the MT-15 from 2018 to 2021.

Construction and Material Quality
STMX is the Accossato compound developed for off-road riding. The manufacturer does not say more than that about its purpose. It carries the company's general aims for all pads: slow wear, heat under control to limit fade and strong stopping power. Accossato won the Enduro World Championship in 1985, so off-road riding is familiar territory.
When the Road Runs Out
Not every daily route is tarmac all the way. In many regions, small bikes like the MT-15 cover stretches of gravel, dusty farm roads or muddy lanes, and the brakes are exposed to grit and water. Abrasive dirt accelerates pad wear, and mud on the disc changes how the brake bites. A compound made for off-road use is designed with those conditions in mind. After a dirty ride, rinse the caliper with water, check that the pistons move freely and look at the remaining pad material more often than you would on a clean road. For pure tarmac riding, OR or ST suit better.
Fitment and Compatibility
Accossato lists AGPA29 for the front of the MT-15 155 from 2018 to 2021 and AGPP99 for the rear. With one front disc and one caliper, a single box covers the front. Clean away grit before pushing the pistons back, check the disc for scoring, inspect the fluid and pump the lever to pressure. Bed the pads in before heading onto loose surfaces.
Road Approval
No ABE or test documentation exists on our side for AGPA29STMX, so it is sold for competition use.
