Dry summer tracks produce clouds of dust that coat bike and rider, and fine powder on the disc is a challenge for any brake pad. For the TM Racing MX 300 two-stroke from 1998 to 2025, Accossato offers the AGPA29 front pad in STMX, its compound for off-road riders. It is the version of the plate meant for dust, sand and mud, where brakes are constantly contaminated.

Construction and Material Quality
Accossato describes STMX simply as its compound for off-road riders and provides no further technical information; we stick to that. What the company states for all its pads is valid here as well: limited heat build-up to prevent fade, slow wear and high stopping power.
Dust in Summer
On a dusty track in August, every rider in front throws up a cloud of fine dirt. It settles on goggles, in the air filter and on the brake discs of the MX 300. The Off-road sintered STMX mixture is designed for conditions where dirt reaches the brake constantly, whether it is dust, sand or mud. For the MX 300 rider who races in all conditions, it is a pad designed for the real environment of motocross. For clean conditions, the OR and ST versions are alternatives, and EV1 is intended for hard surfaces.
Filter and Brake Together
When you service the air filter after a dusty race, look at the brakes too. Blow dust out of the caliper, check the pads for glazing and inspect the disc surface. Dusty conditions tend to leave a thin film on the pad face; a few firm stops on the next outing usually clean it off, but a pad that stays glazed is worth replacing.
Fitment and Compatibility
AGPA29 is Accossato's front plate for the TM Racing MX 300 two-stroke across 1998 to 2025, with one box per front caliper. The rear pad AGPP106 is catalogued from 2005. For the oldest MX 300 bikes, compare the rear pads with the old ones before ordering.
Road Approval
AGPA29STMX has no ABE, and approval documents are not available to us. It is sold for off-road competition.
