Deep sand at a coastal track, grey clay after overnight rain, fine dust hanging over a summer circuit: the front brake of a GasGas MC 450F works in dirt of every kind. The AGPA29STMX set is Accossato's Off-road sintered (STMX) compound for this bike, listed for model years 2021 to 2026. Accossato designed this mix specifically for riders off the tarmac, which makes it the natural pick for anyone who races motocross or spends weekends on dirt tracks and wants a pad made for that environment.

Construction and Material Quality
STMX is the compound Accossato develops for dirt. Rather than a road material adapted to the trail, it is intended from the outset for riders who spend their time on loose ground, and for Accossato that is familiar territory: the company, founded in 1969 in Moncalieri near Turin, won an Enduro world title in 1985. Fitted to the MC 450F, the pads sit in the original caliper in place of the worn set, with nothing to modify.
Sand, Clay and the Wash Bay
Off-road brakes live with abrasive grit. Sand in the caliper, clay packed around the pads, water from a creek crossing: all of it passes between pad and disc on every lap. On a GasGas MC 450F the front brake is also used hard and briefly, a sharp squeeze before a rutted corner and then off again, many times per moto. A compound designed for exactly that use is what STMX offers.
After a muddy race, the wash bay matters as much as the pads. Rinse the caliper with low pressure, let it dry, and look at the remaining pad material before the next meeting. A caliper full of dried clay can hold the pads against the disc and make them wear fast.
Fitment and Compatibility
Accossato lists AGPA29 for the MC 450 F from 2021 to 2026, and this STMX version uses the same outline as the OR, ST and EV1 pads. One caliper sits at the front of the bike, so one box does the job. AGPP80 is the matching rear pad for the same years. After fitting, pump the lever until it is firm and bed the new pads in with a few gentle stops before riding at race pace.
Road Approval
There is no German ABE or test mark on file with us for this set, so it is sold for racing and competition. Given that the MC 450F is a pure competition motocross bike, that is its intended use.
