This nickel-plated master cylinder shares its 19 mm piston and PRS 17-18-19 mm adjustable pivot distance with the black anodised version of the same Ready To Brake range, but trades the anodised black body for a bright nickel-plated surface over the Shark Design shaping. The folding lever supplied here is black, in a long or short reach, rather than the seven-colour choice available on the black-bodied unit. It is built for dual-disc front brakes on superbikes and larger naked machines.

Construction and Material Quality
The nickel plating on this unit sits over the same Shark Design aluminium body used on the black anodised 19 mm version, and the Ready To Brake shaping that reduces passive stroke across every pivot setting is unaffected by the choice of surface finish. An off-set riser with a quick-release jumper limits movement of the body during hard braking and speeds up servicing, and the stainless steel screws, zinc-plated bleed valve and Formula 1 compound seals match the specification used across the whole PRS 19 mm range. The integrated micro-switch for the brake light adds no meaningful weight to the unit.

Accossato builds this nickel-plated master cylinder around a 19 mm piston, the size it specifies for dual-disc front brake systems where fluid volume demands are higher than on a single-disc setup, and pairs it with the same PRS pivot adjustment, movable between 17, 18 and 19 mm, found on the black anodised sibling. Where the two finishes differ is the lever: the black anodised body is offered with a seven-colour lever choice, while this nickel-plated version keeps the lever black, so the nickel surface itself becomes the distinguishing visual feature rather than a coloured lever. Both versions adjust their pivot distance and reduce passive stroke in exactly the same way.

This master cylinder is not supplied with German road-approval documentation; it is intended for track and competition use.
Scope of Delivery
The package includes the Accossato Ready To Brake PRS 19x17-18-19 radial master cylinder in nickel-plated finish, fitted with the black folding lever in the length ordered, the integrated micro-switch, stainless steel mounting screws, the zinc-plated bleed valve and the Formula 1 compound seals already assembled. The fluid reservoir is not included and must be purchased separately.
