This is the nickel-plated version of the CY022 PRS radial brake master cylinder, built around the same 19 mm piston and the same adjustable pivot, which can be set to 17, 18 or 19 mm, as the natural-finish unit. Accossato plates the aluminium body rather than leaving it anodised, which changes the look of the pump without touching the geometry underneath. A black folding lever comes fitted, and here both the long and short lever lengths carry a relieving eyelet (RST).

Construction and Material Quality
The body is machined from aluminium on a CNC centre and then nickel-plated, a different final step to the anodising used on the natural version, though the stainless mounting screws, zinc-plated bleed valve and Formula 1 compound seals that go into it afterwards are identical across the CY022 line. An offset riser is built into the clamp to reduce flex under braking load, and the internal passage is shaped so the lever's passive stroke, before the pads engage, is reduced by over 50 per cent compared with an ordinary radial cylinder.
Adjustable Pivot, Consistent Lever Hardware
Moving the pivot between 17, 18 and 19 mm changes how far the lever has to travel before the brake bites, letting one cylinder cover track and road settings instead of needing separate units for each. Unlike the natural-finish CY022, where the short lever skips the relieving eyelet, this nickel-plated version fits the eyelet (RST) to both lever lengths, so the choice between long and short comes down to reach rather than hardware. As on the natural-finish unit, the three pivot positions, 17, 18 and 19 mm, are built into the lever itself rather than sold as separate parts.
Fitment and Compatibility
The 84 motorcycles confirmed for the natural-finish CY022 apply equally to this nickel-plated version, including the Ducati Streetfighter V4, BMW R1250RT, Honda CB1000R, Kawasaki Ninja H2 SX and Aprilia RSV4 Factory. Full model years are listed in the Fitment tab. The natural anodised CY022 is still available too, as a separate product, for a less reflective finish.
Road Approval
This master cylinder is not supplied with German road-approval documentation; it is intended for track and competition use.
Scope of Delivery
The box contains the Accossato PRS 19x17-18-19 radial brake master cylinder with the folding lever in black, fitted with a relieving eyelet (RST) on both lever lengths, in the nickel-plated body finish. Stainless steel mounting screws, the zinc-plated bleed valve and the Formula 1 compound seals are assembled on the unit. The brake light switch (ID001 or ID002) and the fluid reservoir are sold separately.
