The Accossato ZY043 brings together a painted 19x20 radial brake master cylinder, code CY043, and the painted PZ004 caliper pair that Accossato also fits to the ZY042 and the rest of this painted kit range. Compared with the ZY042's 19x18 pairing, the extra 2 mm of distance here shortens the lever's stroke, which is why Accossato calls the 19x20 the prompter version and keeps its recommendation to dual-disc, track-focused riding rather than the street. The lever stays the black Revolution type, length-adjustable through its inserts, and the calipers ship with sintered pads already in place.

Construction and Material Quality
Moving the lever's pivot 2 mm further from the pumping axis is what gives the CY043 its shorter stroke; Accossato notes that the same hand force then needs to do more work to generate the same braking effort. Forging and painting the body rather than anodising it, an off-set riser against flex under braking, stainless-steel screws, a zinced bleeding valve and Formula 1 compound seals are all carried over from the rest of the painted range. The PZ004 calipers bolted to the CY043 keep their forged monoblock build, five-axis CNC machining and hard-oxidation anodising, unchanged from the ZY042.
Accossato Keeps Its Street Recommendation for the Shorter-Distance Pump
Of the two dual-disc distances in this painted range, Accossato reserves the street-use recommendation for the ZY042's 19x18 pairing, leaving the 19x20 ZY043 for dual-disc bikes ridden hard on track, where the firmer, shorter stroke outweighs the lighter lever feel wanted on the road. The stop light switch stays a separate purchase here too, under code ID001 or ID002, and so does the fluid reservoir, chosen from Accossato's range of models.
Fitment and Compatibility
Our garage carries no vehicle-specific listing for the ZY043, since Accossato sells it, like its painted siblings, as a universal kit rather than a per-model part. Before ordering, the fork's bracket should be confirmed to take the calipers' 108 mm spacing, and the handlebar should be measured where the master cylinder clamps on; given the stiffer, track-oriented character of this distance, installation should be left to a qualified workshop experienced with brake systems.
Road Approval
Accossato documents no ABE for the ZY043. Fitting a radial master cylinder and caliper pair in place of the standard components is subject to compulsory registration for road use in Germany, so this should be confirmed with an approval body before the motorcycle goes back on the road.
