The Accossato FA001 is a replacement hose clamp for the rubber tube that connects an Accossato fluid reservoir to the master cylinder. It closes around the tube at the fitting to stop brake or clutch fluid from seeping out at the joint, a point that depends on the clamp sitting tight rather than on the tube alone. The same clamp is used on both the Accossato brake reservoir and the Accossato clutch reservoir, so one part covers either fluid type. Made in Italy.

Compatibility
Fits the Accossato VG001 reservoir for brake fluid, 45 ml, and the Accossato VP001 reservoir for clutch fluid, 15 ml, wherever the rubber tube from the reservoir connects to the master cylinder.
Fitting Notes
The clamp should be positioned close to the end of the tube before it is tightened, so the full depth of the tube stays pushed onto its fitting rather than being pulled back as the clamp closes. A clamp that has lost its tension, or was cut off during a previous reservoir change, is worth replacing before fluid starts to seep rather than after. Any work on the brake or clutch hydraulics should be finished off by bleeding the system.
