DescriptionThe whole story▼
The Triumph Street Triple 765 R belongs to a family whose engine has a second career: the 765 triple supplies the Moto2 class, and the road bikes have quietly absorbed what that work taught. Accossato lists the Street Triple 765 R from 2022 to 2025 against the FC101, a quick-release fuel tank cap machined from aluminium with the pawl in a choice of six colours. It is a part aimed squarely at riders who use the machine on circuits rather than at anybody looking for decoration.
Key Features
- Quick-release fuel tank cap for the Triumph Street Triple 765 R, 2022 to 2025
- CNC-machined aluminium throughout
- Quick-closing pawl: open and shut in a single movement each way
- Six pin colours: blue, green, black, red, silver, gold
- Spare pawl available separately
- New design by Accossato
- Check the application list before ordering
- No German ABE documented; track use
Construction and Material Quality
Everything in this cap is aluminium cut on CNC machines, a construction Accossato describes as robust and durable, and the shape is its own. The pawl closes quickly, which is the point of the part: on the Street Triple the tank is open just long enough to pour and no longer. Colour is decided by the pin in that pawl, and six are offered, from silver and black through to gold. If the pawl is damaged during a season, it is available on its own, so a small accident in the paddock stays small.
An Engine With a Grand Prix Job
Riders who follow racing tend to bring some of its habits home. They keep notes, they check the machine over between sessions rather than at the end of the day, and they think about the order in which jobs get done. Fuel belongs in that order. On a track day the useful question is not how much a tank holds but when to fill it, and the answer is usually as soon as the bike comes off the circuit, while the awning is quiet and nobody is queuing. Doing it then, with the Street Triple 765 R cold and on its stand, leaves the last ten minutes before a session free for tyre pressures, a drink and a look at the timing sheet.
Fitment and Compatibility
Accossato lists the Street Triple 765 R for the years 2022 to 2025, which is what this listing covers. The same FC101 is filed in our shop under the Aprilia RS 660, the MV Agusta Brutale 800 and the KTM 690 Duke R. Please compare your machine with the application list before ordering.
Road Approval
Accossato documents no German ABE and no parts certificate for the FC101, so it is supplied for closed circuits only. The Street Triple's factory cap, normally opened with the ignition key, is the one for the road.
Scope of Delivery
One Accossato FC101 fuel tank cap with the pin in the colour you select. The pawl can be reordered as a spare.
