DescriptionThe whole story▼
Without a fairing, the Kawasaki ER-6N feels most at home in the city: upright, narrow and easy to thread through traffic. Its front brake uses two calipers with different pad shapes, and Accossato's AGPA95 is the pad for the left one. In the Organic mixture it fits the ER-6N from 2006 to 2016 and is aimed at urban riders who stop at every junction and want a front brake that is soft to modulate, quiet and easy on the discs.
Key Features
- Front left pads AGPA95 for the Kawasaki ER-6N, 2006 to 2016
- Organic mixture, SKU AGPA95OR
- Accossato cites long-lasting performance and low disc wear
- Easy modulation in dense traffic
- Quiet at walking pace
- Right front caliper uses AGPA94
- Plate also made as ST, EV1, EV2 and ZXC
- No ABE held by us; for track use
Construction and Material Quality
For its Organic compound, Accossato highlights two properties: the pad keeps performing over a long period, and it treats the disc gently. In town, where an ER-6N may brake a hundred times on a single trip across the city, both of these add up quickly. The company further states that its pads keep heat in check, which limits fading, and that they deliver a firm stop. This block is mounted on the AGPA95 plate for the left caliper.
Stop and Go Across Town
City riding on a naked twin is a sequence of short bursts and gentle stops: traffic lights, zebra crossings, delivery vans pulling out. The front brake is rarely used hard but constantly used, often while still cold. An organic pad copes well with that rhythm, giving a predictable first bite and a lever that responds evenly as pressure increases.
Urban bikes collect grime quickly, and brake dust mixed with road dirt settles around the pistons. Every few months, clean the calipers and look at the pad surfaces. When the time comes to replace the pads, do both front calipers together and ride a few calm stops to bed the new set in.
Fitment and Compatibility
Accossato catalogues AGPA95 for the left caliper at the front of the Kawasaki ER-6N 650, model years 2006 to 2016. Its counterpart on the right is AGPA94, while AGPP102 is listed for the rear. Since a box contains one caliper set, the front needs one box of each shape.
Road Approval
There is no ABE or German approval mark for AGPA95OR in our files. We sell these pads for competition use.
Scope of Delivery
Two Organic pads, enough for the left front caliper.
