DescriptionThe whole story▼
The larger-engined F3 800 sits above the 675 in MV Agusta's supersport range, built from 2013 to 2019 with more mid-range power from the same three-cylinder layout. Accossato's TS005 fits its front brake reservoir, CNC-machined aluminium anodised across seven colours.
Key Features
- Front brake fluid reservoir cap for the MV Agusta F3 800, 2013 to 2019
- Replaces the cap on the standard front reservoir
- Aluminium, CNC-machined, anodised finish
- Seven colours: blue, black, orange, red, silver, green, gold
- No other Accossato cap currently listed for this motorcycle
- Shared application with the BMW S1000R and others
- No German ABE on file; sold for competition use
- A larger-engined sibling of the F3 675
Construction and Material Quality
Machined from aluminium on CNC equipment and anodised afterwards, the TS005 comes in blue, black, orange, red, silver, green or gold. The extra displacement the F3 800 carries over its 675 sibling changes how the engine delivers power but has no bearing whatsoever on the front reservoir design, which is why the identical TS005 fits both machines without any variation at all, right down to the thread and the fastening beneath it.
More Mid-Range Power, the Same Front Brake
Riders who choose the F3 800 specifically for its stronger mid-range often ride harder than they would on the smaller 675, which puts correspondingly more demand on the front brake and the fluid inside this reservoir. Checking the level between the markings and keeping to the handbook's change interval is worth taking seriously on a bike ridden with this much enthusiasm, rather than assuming the extra displacement looks after itself. A harder-ridden triple deserves fresher fluid on a shorter interval, not an afterthought left until the fluid looks visibly dark.
Fitment and Compatibility
This TS005 application covers the F3 800's front reservoir for its full 2013 to 2019 run, the whole of its time on sale. No second Accossato cap currently exists for this particular model. Reservoirs built to this exact shape also turn up on the BMW S1000R and the Honda CBR 1000 RR, machines with a very different badge but a broadly comparable approach to front brake hardware and engineering underneath their own separate fairing panels entirely, each built in a different country.
Road Approval
Accossato has not supplied an ABE or comparable document for the TS005, so it is listed for competition use.
Scope of Delivery
One TS005 front reservoir cap is supplied, anodised in the colour chosen.
