DescriptionThe whole story▼
The Z900RS Cafe's front reservoir carries its own application running a year past the matching filler's, 2018 through to 2021 rather than stopping at 2020, a detail easy to miss if only one of the two parts has ever been checked. Accossato's TS005 fits it, CNC-machined aluminium anodised across seven colours.
Key Features
- Front brake fluid reservoir cap for the Kawasaki Z900RS Cafe, 2018 to 2021
- Replaces the cap on the standard front reservoir
- Aluminium, CNC-machined, anodised finish
- Seven colours: blue, black, orange, red, silver, green, gold
- FP004 and TS013 also listed for this motorcycle
- Shared application with the BMW S1000R and others
- No German ABE on file; sold for competition use
- A slightly longer application span than the matching filler
Construction and Material Quality
Every TS005 is cut from aluminium on CNC machines and anodised afterwards in one of seven colours. Set above the Cafe's two-tone paint scheme and small flyscreen, this reservoir cap is one of the more visible metal details on a bike whose styling pays close attention to exactly this kind of finishing touch, which makes the anodised colour worth choosing deliberately rather than leaving to chance at the point of order, since it stays in plain view for as long as the bike remains parked in its usual spot in the garage.
An Extra Year Worth Knowing About
An owner who already checked the oil filler's application and found it stopping at 2020 might reasonably assume the same cut-off applies here, but Accossato's records extend this particular front reservoir listing through to 2021. Confirming the actual bike against both applications separately avoids any confusion before ordering either part for a Z900RS Cafe near that boundary year, whichever side of the line it happens to fall on.
Fitment and Compatibility
Accossato lists the TS005 for the Kawasaki Z900RS Cafe's front reservoir from 2018 to 2021, a year longer than the matching filler's own span. This Z900RS Cafe also takes the FP004 oil filler cap and the TS013 rear reservoir cap, completing a full three-part set. The same TS005 is additionally listed for the BMW S1000R and the Honda CBR 1000 RR, bikes with nothing in common with a retro-styled Kawasaki beyond the reservoir shape.
Road Approval
We hold no ABE or test paperwork for the TS005, so it is listed here for competition use.
