DescriptionThe whole story▼
Kawasaki introduced the SE trim to the Z900 range for 2022, carrying it through to the current 2026 lineup with upgraded suspension over the standard bike while leaving the rest of the chassis largely untouched. Its front reservoir takes Accossato's TS005, CNC-machined aluminium anodised across seven colours, exactly as it does on the bike this trim is based on.
Key Features
- Front brake fluid reservoir cap for the Kawasaki Z900 SE, 2022 to 2026
- Fits the standard front reservoir without modification
- Aluminium, CNC-machined, anodised finish
- Seven colours: blue, black, orange, red, silver, green, gold
- Shared application with other recent Kawasaki models
- No other Accossato cap currently listed for this motorcycle
- No German ABE on file; for competition use
- A suspension-focused trim with no change to brake hardware
Construction and Material Quality
A solid aluminium blank goes onto Accossato's CNC machines to become a TS005, and only afterwards does anodising add one of seven colours. Kawasaki's SE badge on the Z900 points to upgraded suspension components rather than anything touching the brakes, which is why the front reservoir cap on this version is identical to the one fitted on the standard bike built alongside it on the same production line.
Better Suspension, Unchanged Braking Basics
A sharper-handling bike thanks to improved suspension still depends on fluid in the reservoir doing its basic job properly, something no amount of damping adjustment can substitute for. Checking the level between the markings and keeping to the handbook's change interval matters just as much on the SE as on the standard Z900, whatever else the extra equipment brings to the way the bike rides on a twisty road. A rider who paid extra for better damping gains nothing by letting this simpler job slide.
Fitment and Compatibility
Accossato lists the TS005 for the Kawasaki Z900 SE across 2022 to 2026, its full time on sale to date. No other Accossato cap is currently catalogued for this motorcycle. The same TS005 also fits several other recent Kawasaki and BMW models sharing that reservoir design, a detail worth knowing for an owner comparing parts across more than one current bike kept together in the same shared garage space at the very same time.
Road Approval
Accossato has not supplied an ABE or comparable document for the TS005, so it is listed for competition use.
