A rider's first trackday on a CBR 600 RR usually teaches one lesson before any other: how much more the front brake does than it ever needed to on the road. Built from 2007 to 2016, the bike's front reservoir takes Accossato's TS005 cap, CNC-machined aluminium anodised in seven colours, a straightforward swap for the standard Honda cover.

Construction and Material Quality
Shaped on CNC machines and anodised afterwards, the TS005 comes in blue, black, orange, red, silver, green or gold, each one a true anodised finish rather than a painted layer. Set high on the bar where it meets both weather and attention, this is a part that benefits from colour worked into the aluminium itself, since it will be wiped, rained on and occasionally knocked by a glove over the years the cap stays fitted. Underneath, the reservoir and master cylinder carry on exactly as Honda built them.
Learning Where the Brake Lever's Limit Is
New to trackdays or new to the bike, a CBR 600 RR rewards a rider who respects the front brake rather than one who grabs it. Part of that respect is mechanical sympathy: fluid that has sat for seasons without a change loses some of its margin exactly when a hard stop from speed needs it most. Changing the TS005 is a natural moment to bleed the system and look at the fluid's condition, something worth doing on a calendar rather than waiting for a symptom to appear.
Fitment and Compatibility
The TS005 is listed by Accossato for the Honda CBR 600 RR's front reservoir from 2007 to 2016, taking the place of the factory cap. The same part also fits the BMW S1000R and S1000RR and the Honda CB 1000 R RA, among several others on the maker's list. This CBR 600 RR also takes the FP004 oil filler cap, so the two can be ordered together in one colour.

No ABE or test mark for the TS005 has been provided to us, so the cap is listed for track and competition purposes.
