DescriptionThe whole story▼
Dust gets everywhere on a gravel road. It settles in the folds of your jacket, in the chain and around every seam on the handlebar of a Multistrada 1200 Enduro, including the edge of the front brake reservoir cap. That is why experienced adventure riders do fluid work at home, in a clean garage, and leave the reservoirs closed while they are out on the trails. Accossato lists the TS003 for the Enduro and the Enduro Touring from 2016 to 2018 and for the Enduro Pro of 2018: a front reservoir cap of CNC-machined, anodised aluminium.

- CNC-machined, anodised aluminium
- Seven colours: blue, green, black, orange, red, silver, gold

Construction and Material Quality
Accossato, whose history includes an Enduro world title in 1985, makes the TS003 from aluminium, shapes it on CNC machines and anodises it in blue, green, black, orange, red, silver or gold. It is designed for the original front reservoir of the bikes on Accossato's list, so on the Multistrada 1200 Enduro the brake system itself stays standard. When the old cap comes off, look closely at the diaphragm or seal. Fine grit can lodge at its edge; clean it carefully, and replace it if it is damaged or no longer flexible.
Open It at Home, Not at the Trailhead
A closed reservoir protects the fluid; an open one in dusty wind does the opposite. Grit that falls in can end up where it causes wear, and humid air gets in every time the reservoir stands open. So plan any work on the front brake of the Multistrada 1200 Enduro for home. On the trip itself, limit yourself to looking: with the bars turned until the reservoir sits level, the fluid should be between the marks. As the pads wear, the level sinks slowly, which is normal; a sudden drop is not, and it needs attention before the next stage. Back in the garage, start by cleaning. Wash the dust off the handlebar area and let it dry, then wipe the cap and the reservoir rim with a clean, lint-free cloth. Only then lay a cover over the tank and fairing, because brake fluid damages paint, and keep water ready to rinse off any splash straight away. Open the reservoir briefly, fit the TS003, tighten it gently and squeeze the lever several times before riding. If the fluid looks dark after a dusty season, have it renewed as the owner's manual prescribes.
Fitment and Compatibility
On Accossato's application list the TS003 is given for the front reservoir of the Multistrada 1200 Enduro and Enduro Touring of 2016 to 2018 and for the Enduro Pro of 2018, replacing the original cap. Inter-Pace also catalogues it for the Multistrada 1200 S, the Monster 1200 R and the Aprilia Caponord 1200 Rally. For the clutch reservoir of the Enduro, Accossato offers the FP007 cover. Please compare your bike with the list before ordering.
Road Approval
No test mark or ABE for the TS003 is on file with us, which is why we sell it for racing and competition.
