DescriptionThe whole story▼
The Street Triple 765 RS sits at the sharp end of Triumph's naked range, with the firmest suspension and the most track-focused electronics of the three-cylinder family, and plenty of owners take a weekend ride that strays onto fast, twisting country roads rather than staying in town. On those roads, a tightening apex can reveal a scattering of loose stones washed down from a field entrance or left behind by a tractor, exactly where a confident rider has already committed to a line. Accossato lists the PF03 front axle sliders for the Street Triple 765 RS of 2017 to 2019.
Key Features
- Front axle sliders for the Triumph Street Triple 765 RS, 2017 to 2019
- Accossato PF03, supplied as a pair
- Aluminium and plastic, finished in black
- Spacers, screws and remaining mounting parts in the kit, according to Accossato
- Rear axle sliders PP003 also listed for this bike
- Meant to touch down first if the front washes out
- Same pair listed for the Daytona 675, the Daytona 675 R and the Speed Triple 1050 R
- No German ABE on file; for racing and competition
Construction and Material Quality
Accossato builds the PF03 from aluminium and plastic, finishing both protectors in black for the left and right side of the front wheel. The kit, as described by the maker, includes the spacers, screws and every other part needed for mounting. On a fast country road, where grip can change from one metre to the next, the sliders are there to reach the ground before the fork and the front axle area if the Street Triple 765 RS slides away from under its rider, which can reduce the resulting damage. A slider ground down in such a moment should be replaced rather than kept.
Loose Stones at the Apex
Field entrances and farm gateways scatter grit and small stones across the road surface that is otherwise clean, and on a fast sweeping bend this debris often collects exactly at the apex, where a rider on the Street Triple 765 RS has already leant the bike to its deepest angle. There is rarely any warning sign for this kind of hazard, and by the time the front tyre crosses the loose patch, there is little to do except stay smooth and avoid any sudden input that could unsettle the chassis further. Riders who know a road well still get caught out after a change in the weather or a recent harvest has left fresh debris on a familiar bend. If the front does let go, the sliders take the first contact with the road; check them, the fork and the levers before continuing the ride.
Fitment and Compatibility
For the Street Triple 765 RS, the years on Accossato's application list are 2017 to 2019, and our listing keeps to that span. The rear of this bike takes the PP003 sliders, while the same front PF03 design also appears in our shop against the Daytona 675, the Daytona 675 R and the Speed Triple 1050 R. Where the RS you own does not sit comfortably within those years, send us its details before ordering so we can check it properly.
Road Approval
We have no ABE or test certificate on file for the PF03, so it is supplied for track and competition use.
Scope of Delivery
