The Aprilia Tuono V4 1100 is a naked bike with a superbike engine at its heart, and its front brakes deal with that performance every time the rider shuts the throttle. Changing a front disc means taking the wheel out, and that is a good moment to look at everything around it. Accossato's DKS032 is on the list for the Tuono V4 1100 in 2015 and from 2017 to 2025, an Elite disc whose floating ring sits on a black carrier.

Construction and Material Quality
On the DKS032, a friction ring with an outside diameter of 330 mm and a thickness of 5.5 mm is riveted to a black carrier, whose centre bore measures 64 mm, and the rivets let the ring float. Elite discs bear the Accossato logo on those rivets. Accossato says its approach, from the choice of material to the gap between ring and carrier, comes from racing, and that a light disc makes a motorcycle easier to steer.
While the Front Wheel Is Out
Once the front wheel of a Tuono V4 1100 is on the bench, a few checks take only minutes. Turn each wheel bearing with a finger: it should spin smoothly, without roughness or play. Look around the rim for dents and cracks, especially if the bike has met a pothole. Clean the hub's mounting faces and the threads of the disc bolts, since dirt or old threadlock under a disc can tilt it and cause a pulse at the lever. Check the ABS sensor ring for dirt and damage. It is also a sensible moment to think about the front tyre, since the wheel is out anyway. When refitting, tighten the disc bolts in a cross pattern to the torque Aprilia gives for the Tuono, use the threadlock the manual specifies, and pump the lever until it is firm before the bike moves.
Fitment and Compatibility
Accossato names four Tuono entries for this disc: the Tuono V4 1100 of 2015, the Tuono 1100 V4 from 2017 to 2025, the Tuono V4 1100 from 2021 to 2025 and the Tuono V4 1100 SBK of 2024. The year 2016 does not appear. Twin discs sit on the Tuono's front wheel, and one order equals one disc. Compare dimensions with your existing disc before fitting.
Road Approval
No ABE for Germany and no type approval are recorded for the DKS032. Treat it as a part for the racetrack.
