DescriptionThe whole story▼
The KTM 125XC-W left KTM's enduro range for a few years before reappearing in the current line-up, and Accossato's DK018 rear disc is listed for both spells: 2017 to 2019 and again from 2025. It is a fixed, off-road rear disc, steel-made according to the supplier, 220 mm across with a 110 mm centre opening and 4 mm thick, built to replace the original.
Key Features
- Fixed off-road rear brake disc for the KTM 125XC-W, 2017 to 2019 and 2025 to 2026
- One piece, steel-made according to the supplier
- 220 mm outer diameter, 110 mm centre opening
- 4 mm thick when new
- Interchangeable with the original rear disc
- Minimum working thickness marked on the disc
- No German ABE on file; for off-road competition
Construction and Material Quality
Like the rest of Accossato's fixed off-road range, the DK018 is a single steel piece rather than a riveted assembly, with no separate carrier to wear independently of the friction band. Outer diameter runs to 220 mm around a 110 mm centre opening, at 4 mm thick fresh out of the box. Accossato says it draws on what it has learned building discs for Superbike, Moto2 and Moto3 when choosing material and setting the tolerances between disc and hub, and the minimum working thickness is stamped into the disc face so a straightforward measurement shows how much is left before the disc should come off.
Gap Years and a Returning Model
KTM paused the 125XC-W after the 2019 model year and brought it back later, and Accossato's application list for the DK018 reflects that gap rather than smoothing over it: 2017 to 2019, then a jump straight to 2025 and 2026. An owner of either version can order the same rear disc with confidence, since neither the hub nor the mounting pattern changed across that break, but anyone unsure which years their particular 125XC-W covers is better off checking the frame number against the gap than assuming continuity. The rear disc on a bike like this also tends to be the one riders reach for most in slow, technical sections, since it is easier to modulate than the front when the ground underfoot keeps shifting.
Fitment and Compatibility
Accossato lists the DK018 for the 125XC-W across 2017 to 2019 and 2025 to 2026, in place of the original rear disc. For the front wheel of the same bike, Accossato offers the DK259 and the DK017, both for 2017 to 2019; check which front disc matches your model year before ordering. Tighten the disc bolts to the torque given in KTM's manual and bed the new disc in gently before riding hard.
Road Approval
No German ABE and no type approval are documented for the DK018. It is intended for off-road competition use, which matches how the 125XC-W is normally ridden.
Scope of Delivery
One DK018 rear disc. Fixing bolts and brake pads are not part of the delivery.
