DescriptionThe whole story▼
Hobby racers who build a Kawasaki ER-6N for the grid want the brakes to match the rest of the preparation. For the right front caliper, Accossato provides AGPA94 in its EV2 racing mixture. It fits the ER-6N from 2006 to 2016 and is designed for riders who compete, who set times in timed practice and who need a pad that can take the heat of repeated heavy stops in race conditions.
Key Features
- Front right pads AGPA94 for the Kawasaki ER-6N, 2006 to 2016
- EV2 racing mixture, SKU AGPA94EV2
- Accossato calls EV2 a top racing compound
- Built for timed practice and races
- Suited to repeated heavy stops
- Match with AGPA95 on the left caliper
- Also produced as OR, ST, EV1 and ZXC
- No ABE on file; for competition
Construction and Material Quality
EV2 racing is, in Accossato's terms, a top racing compound, and we offer it as a pad for competition. The maker's general claims, slow wear, a resistance to fading thanks to limited heat build-up, and high stopping force, are what racers look for when they choose a front pad. On the ER-6N, the EV2 compound sits on the AGPA94 plate for the right front caliper.
Timed Practice
Timed practice is where an ER-6N racer finds out how late the bike can brake into each corner. The rider pushes the braking point a little further each lap and needs a front brake that responds consistently every time. Any change in lever feel over the session is a warning sign worth reporting to the mechanic.
Between sessions, check the pad depth, look at the discs for blueing and make sure the fluid has not darkened. Pistons should be cleaned before being pushed back during a pad change, and the lever pumped until it is firm.
Club racers on a budget often prepare the ER-6N themselves in a home garage. In that case, a simple checklist taped to the toolbox helps: fluid, pistons, pad depth left and right, discs, lever freeplay. Working through it the same way before every meeting reduces the chance of a missed step when time is short.
Fitment and Compatibility
AGPA94 is listed by Accossato for the front right caliper of the Kawasaki ER-6N 650, 2006 to 2016. The left front uses AGPA95, and the rear AGPP102. One box per caliper, so two boxes for a full front set.
Road Approval
AGPA94EV2 is sold without an ABE or German approval documentation in our possession. It is intended for racing.
Scope of Delivery
Two EV2 racing pads for the right front caliper.
