DescriptionThe whole story▼
Some Yamaha XSR900 GP owners take the sporting theme all the way and prepare their 2024 to 2026 bike for club racing or timed sessions. For those machines Accossato offers the AGPA97 front pad in EV2 racing, SKU AGPA97EV2. The compound is intended for the rider who spends race weekends chasing tenths, working on late braking points into slow corners and needing the front brake to handle hard stops throughout practice, qualifying and race distance.
Key Features
- EV2 racing compound, SKU AGPA97EV2
- Yamaha XSR900 GP, 2024 to 2026
- Accossato calls it a top racing compound
- For timed sessions and qualifying
- For heavy, repeated stops on track
- One set of two pads per caliper
- Rear pad AGPP88, discs DK077 and DKS073 listed
Construction and Material Quality
Accossato calls EV2 racing one of its top compounds for competition. On an XSR900 GP prepared for the circuit, that places it in the setup of riders who brake hard and often. Accossato's general claims for its pads include slow wear, fade resistance through controlled heat and strong stopping power; we list them once and add nothing about the materials.
Chasing Tenths
In timed sessions, small gains add up. Riders on EV2 racing typically work on braking a few metres later each lap, keeping the lever pressure consistent from the first touch to the release at the apex. On an XSR900 GP used this way, check pad wear after each session, keep an eye on the fluid, and carry a spare set to the circuit. If most of your riding is on public roads with only a rare track day, EV1 is the better match; ZXC is Accossato's ceramic racing option.
Fitment and Compatibility
Accossato lists this pad for the front of the Yamaha XSR900 GP, 2024 to 2026. The XSR900 GP has two front calipers, so fit two boxes to cover both sides. For the rear of the XSR900 GP, AGPP88 is listed for the same years, along with the discs DK077 and DKS073. Before fitting, clean the pistons and push them back evenly, then pump the lever until it is firm, and bed the pads in before pushing hard.
Road Approval
These pads have no ABE or test documentation in our files, so we offer them for racing and competition.
Scope of Delivery
One box, two EV2 racing pads, enough for one front caliper.
