DescriptionThe whole story▼
An MT-125 that has been prepared for the track needs front pads that cope with lap after lap of hard use. Accossato's AGPA101EV2 is the front pad for the Yamaha MT-125 from 2014 to 2026 in the EV2 racing compound. It is intended for riders who take a track-converted MT-125 to circuit events and want the front brake to stay consistent through every session.

Construction and Material Quality
Accossato's EV2 is its racing compound, described simply as a top racing compound. On the MT-125's AGPA101 plate, it is designed for hard, repeated stops on a circuit. Accossato's aim of controlling heat to limit fade matters most at this end of the range.
Racing a Small Bike
On a small-capacity bike, riders carry as much speed as possible through corners, because lost momentum takes a long time to regain. That means braking is often brief and precise rather than long and heavy, but it is repeated at every corner, lap after lap. A racing compound such as EV2 is designed to give consistent response throughout a session. Prepare the bike carefully: fresh racing fluid, a check of the single front disc and hose, and plenty of pad material. Between sessions, check wear and look for glazing. Keep a spare set of pads and the tools to fit them in your paddock kit. Before entering any event, read the class rules carefully, since some organisers restrict which parts may be changed on a small-capacity bike.
Fitment and Compatibility
Accossato lists the AGPA101 for the front of the Yamaha MT-125 from 2014 to 2026, with the AGPA173 at the rear until 2019 and the AGPP99 from 2020. One box covers the single front caliper. Clean the pistons, check the disc for wear and bleed with fresh fluid before track use. The DK245 disc is also listed for this model. Bed in the pads during the first session.
Road Approval
No German ABE or approval documents for this pad are in our possession, so the AGPA101EV2 is offered only for circuit and competition use.
