DescriptionThe whole story▼
Accossato lists its AGPA72 front pad for the 2017 and 2018 Triumph Street Scrambler, and the EV2 racing compound version is meant for owners who have built one into a competition machine. That might be a bike stripped for club events or one kept purely for practice days at a local circuit. Either way, the front brake works hard, hot and repeatedly, and the EV2 mix is designed for those conditions.

Construction and Material Quality
EV2 is Accossato's top racing compound, according to the company's own description. For the early Street Scrambler it is mounted on the AGPA72 plate, and it stands at the competition end of a family that includes three road-oriented versions. The maker aims for durability, fade resistance and strong stopping in all its pads.
Practice Day Routine
A practice day gives riders time to learn how the brake behaves when pushed. With a racing compound, expect it to come alive once it has some temperature in it. Start the first session at a moderate pace to bed the pads in, then build braking effort gradually. In the pits, check pad thickness, look for cracks or glazing, and inspect the disc edge for heat marks. Carry spare pads and fluid, and remember to pump the lever until it is firm after any pad change before rolling out.
Not a Commuting Compound
It is worth being clear about what this pad is not. A racing mix on an early Street Scrambler that is also ridden to work on cold mornings can feel less eager at low temperature than a road compound would. If the bike leads a double life, the OR, ST or EV1 versions of the same shape are the more fitting choice for the road days, with EV2 reserved for the events themselves.
Fitment and Compatibility
For the Triumph Street Scrambler, Accossato lists the AGPA72 front pad for 2017 and 2018, recorded as Street 900 Scrambler. From 2019 the front pad becomes AGPA112. One front caliper takes one box. The AGPA76 is the rear pad for 2017 to 2022, and the DK203 disc is listed for the model.
Road Approval
No test report or German ABE for this pad has reached us, so we sell it for racing and competition purposes.
