DescriptionThe whole story▼
Countless club racers learned their craft on an early Suzuki SV650 S, and plenty of these bikes are still racing in twin-cylinder and budget classes today. Accossato lists its AGPA94 front pad for the SV650 across 1999 to 2012 and 2016 to 2021, and in the EV2 racing compound it is sold as SKU AGPA94EV2. It is intended for race-prepared SV650s that are braked hard at the end of every straight, from qualifying to the chequered flag.

Construction and Material Quality
EV2 racing is, according to Accossato, one of its top compounds for competition. It is meant for a rider who needs the brake to behave identically on every lap, even as the pads and discs get hot. Slow wear and good heat management, two aims the company sets for all its pads, help it last through a full meeting.
An Old Warrior on the Grid
An early SV650 S race bike has usually been through many seasons, many owners and many crashes. Its chassis and engine are well understood, and racers know exactly where the braking markers are on their local circuit. What they need from the front pad is the confidence to hit those markers lap after lap. EV2 is made for that repeated, precise work.
For many riders, a season on a racing SV650 is the most affordable way into real competition.
Keeping an Old Racer Sharp
Older calipers deserve extra attention: rebuild them if the pistons are pitted, use fresh fluid for every meeting and check the discs for warping. Replace pads on both calipers at once.
Fitment and Compatibility
Accossato lists AGPA94 for the early SV 650 S (1999 to 2002 and 2003 to 2012) and for the SV 650 of 2016 to 2021; no years between 2013 and 2015 are shown. AGPA95 is catalogued for much the same bikes, so check the old pads from your race bike. Each front caliper needs its own box.
Road Approval
AGPA94EV2 has no ABE or German approval in our records and is sold for motorsport only.
