DescriptionThe whole story▼
Fun racing with unusual bikes has its own following, from beach races to endurance events where odd machines line up side by side. A Suzuki RV 200 VanVan from the 2016 to 2019 range, stripped of its mirrors and prepared for such a race, needs a front brake made for competition. Accossato offers the AGPA94 front pad in its EV2 racing compound, SKU AGPA94EV2, for exactly that: timed sessions and races where the brake is used hard every lap.
Key Features
- AGPA94 front pad for the Suzuki RV 200 VanVan, 2016 to 2019
- EV2 racing compound, SKU AGPA94EV2
- Accossato calls it a top racing compound
- For fun races and endurance events
- Designed for hard, repeated stops
- For a VanVan prepared for competition
- OR, ST, EV1 and ZXC are the other compounds
- No ABE on file; competition use only
Construction and Material Quality
EV2 racing is described by Accossato as one of its leading compounds for competition use. It is meant to deliver the same stopping power from the opening lap to the chequered flag. The maker also mentions low wear and good heat handling, which a small-bike endurance race puts to the test.
Racing an Unlikely Bike
Part of the fun of racing a VanVan is the surprise it causes. But once the flag drops, the brakes have to work like on any race bike: late braking into every corner, lap after lap, often for hours in an endurance format. EV2 is designed for that.
This is a pad for event days. For riding to the shops, one of Accossato's road compounds is the better partner.
Team Tips
Plan the pad change into the race strategy, keep a fresh set and the right tools in a labelled box and check the fluid before the start. After the event, inspect the used pads for uneven wear that could point to a sticking piston, and fix it before the next round.
Fitment and Compatibility
In the Accossato catalogue, AGPA94 is the front pad listed for the RV 200 VanVan across 2016 to 2019. No rear pad or disc is listed for it. You need one box per caliper, plus spares for the event.
Road Approval
We are not aware of an ABE or German approval for AGPA94EV2; the pad is offered for racing only.
Scope of Delivery
Two EV2 racing pads for one caliper.
