DescriptionThe whole story▼
For the Honda VFR800F from 2017 to 2019, Accossato lists the AGPA250 front pad, and this version comes in EV2 racing. It is aimed at the small group of VFR800F riders who take their bike to the circuit seriously: qualifying-style timed sessions, late braking points and full days of hard use. For everyday riding, the road-oriented mixtures on the same shape are better suited, but for the track this is the version Accossato builds for racing.
Key Features
- Front brake pads for the Honda VFR800F, 2017 to 2019

- Built for late braking into tight corners
- Designed for timed sessions and competition use

Construction and Material Quality
EV2 racing is, in Accossato's words, a top racing compound. The pad is designed for competition, where the brake is used at full force many times per lap. Accossato's general goals, such as moderate wear, heat control that keeps fade away and very strong braking, are especially relevant in this environment. On the later VFR800F, EV2 gives a direct and powerful response when the lever is pulled hard.
Late Markers and Timed Laps
When lap times matter, the braking zone is where the most time is won or lost. Riders learn to brake later and harder, then release the lever smoothly into the corner. That requires a pad whose grip is predictable under heavy load. EV2 racing is designed for that. Between sessions, check the pads and discs, keep the fluid fresh and make sure the lever travel stays consistent. Before the first session, bed in the new pads with a few laps of gradually harder braking. Afterwards, clean the calipers and check the discs for any signs of overheating on the VFR800F.
Fitment and Compatibility
Accossato gives the AGPA250 for the front brake of the Honda VFR800F from 2017 to 2019. For the 2014 to 2016 version the front pad is the AGPA108. The VFR800F has two front calipers, so plan on two boxes. The rear of both models takes the Accossato AGPP55, listed for 2014 to 2019.
Road Approval
An ABE or German test document for the AGPA250EV2 is not available to us. We sell these pads exclusively for racing.
