The Honda CBR 1000 RR-R SP Fireblade is a regular sight on national superstock grids and in club racing, and the 2022 to 2025 versions are among the most capable machines in the paddock. Racing on one means stopping from very high speed many times per lap. Accossato's article AGPA106EV2 carries the EV2 racing mixture on the AGPA106 front shape, and the factory calls it a top racing compound. It is aimed at riders who spend their weekends watching timing screens and adjusting bikes between sessions.

Construction and Material Quality
The EV2 is the mixture Accossato builds for racing proper. It is designed for repeated hard stops, for a rider who brakes as late as possible at every corner and needs the pad to respond in the same way through the session. The company's general claims for its range also apply: pads that last, controlled heat that limits fade and strong stopping power. The shared AGPA106 carrier means race teams can keep spare sets of other mixtures that fit identically. Accossato's roots in competition go back to an enduro world title in 1985.
Sessions, Tyres and Timing Screens
Every session in a race weekend has a purpose. Early on, the rider finds markers; later, the team tests tyres and settings; in qualifying, the aim is one clean fast lap. The front brakes of the SP are involved in all of it, and the timing screen shows quickly when braking is not consistent.
Build brake checks into the schedule. Replace fluid before the meeting, bed new pads in during the first practice, and after each session inspect pads, discs and lever travel. Clean the pistons whenever pads come out. If lever travel grows during the weekend, bleed the system before the race rather than trusting luck. Keep a spare set of pads in the kit.
Fitment and Compatibility
Accossato lists AGPA106EV2 for the Honda CBR 1000 RR-R SP from 2022 to 2025. With two front calipers, two boxes are required. The 2020 and 2021 SP is not included in this front listing. For the rear, the AGPA42 covers the SP from 2020 to 2025.
Road Approval
We have not received ABE or German approval papers for AGPA106EV2; it is sold for racing and closed circuits.
