DescriptionThe whole story▼
A big adventure-tourer on a circuit looks odd until you watch one work. The Multistrada V4 S carries more mass than the sports bikes around it and keeps up anyway, which leaves the front brake with a harder job at the end of every straight. For riders who do that often enough to care, Accossato presses the AGPA106 carrier in its EV2 racing material, a compound the company puts at the top of its competition range. The article number is AGPA106EV2 and the listing runs from 2021 to 2026.
Key Features
- Front pads for the Ducati Multistrada V4 S, 2021 to 2026, Sport version included
- AGPA106EV2: the AGPA106 carrier pressed with the EV2 racing material
- Accossato's own words for it are a top racing compound
- Chosen for organised circuit riding rather than for commuting
- Each box is the pair of pads that one caliper takes
- A front change on this machine means two boxes
- Other materials on the same carrier: ST, EV1 and ZXC
- No German ABE held; sold for competition
Construction and Material Quality
Accossato keeps its description of this compound brief, and the firm's long presence in racing paddocks is the context around it. The pressing sits on the standard AGPA106 carrier, identical in shape to the one under the other three materials, so a set goes into the calipers of the Multistrada V4 S exactly as any other set would. The friction layer is the single variable, and on this article it is the one the company keeps for competition rather than for a ride to work.
Weight at the End of the Straight
Physics is unkind to a heavy bike where a straight runs out. Everything the motor put into the machine has to come back out through two discs in a few seconds, and doing that once is easy. Doing it twenty times in a session, with the pads never fully cooling between laps, is where differences show. A rider on a Multistrada V4 S asks the front brake for more work per lap than the rider on the lighter machine ahead, simply because there is more bike to slow down.
The extra load means the maintenance has to be honest. Check the friction material at the end of the day rather than at the start of the next one, look for scoring on the disc faces while the wheel is out, and think about the age of the fluid if the bike has spent a summer being ridden this way. Renew the pads on both sides of the front axle together; leaving one caliper with an older set undoes the point of fitting a competition material at all.
Fitment and Compatibility
Accossato covers the front of the Multistrada V4 S with this article from 2021 to 2026, the Sport version included up to 2025. There is a caliper on each fork leg, so plan for two boxes when the pads are down. The catalogue's rear answer for the same bike is the AGPA93 across the same years, and no Accossato disc is offered for the model. Other Multistrada V4 variants are listed separately and should be checked on their own part numbers.
Road Approval
No ABE exists for this article in our files, nor any German test document. It is a racing material and we hand it over on that basis, for circuits and organised events.
Scope of Delivery
One box holding two AGPA106 pads in the EV2 racing material, which is a single caliper's worth. The Multistrada V4 S needs two boxes for a full front change.
