DescriptionThe whole story▼
Some owners treat the Multistrada V4 RS as a circuit bike that happens to have panniers available. They enter club events, run a transponder and care a great deal about where the marker board stands at the end of the straight. Accossato files AGPA106EV2 under racing: the AGPA106 front carrier pressed in the EV2 racing material, which the company describes as a top racing compound. It is the material the firm reserves for competition, and it is listed for the front of the RS from 2024 to 2026.
Key Features
- Front pads for the Ducati Multistrada V4 RS, 2024 to 2026
- AGPA106EV2 pairs the AGPA106 carrier with the EV2 racing material
- Accossato describes the material as a top racing compound
- Meant for organised circuit events rather than for the daily commute
- A box covers one caliper; the RS has one on each fork leg
- Same carrier, other materials: ST, EV1 and ZXC
- Accossato lists no rear pad for this version of the Multistrada
- No German ABE on record; competition use only
Construction and Material Quality
Accossato's description of the EV2 racing material is short, and the company's history fills in the rest: it has supplied brake and clutch parts to paddocks since long before this Multistrada existed. What arrives in the box is the familiar AGPA106 carrier, dimensionally the same as the other three, with a friction layer chosen for the kind of work a circuit asks for. Nothing about pushing a set into the calipers of the Multistrada V4 RS differs from any other suffix in the range.
Hitting the Same Marker Lap After Lap
Riding to a lap time is mostly an exercise in repetition. You pick a board, a kerb or a patch of tarmac, you brake there, and the session consists of doing it again with as little variation as you can manage. A rider who has to add a margin because the front brake felt different on lap nine to how it felt on lap two has already given away more than a tenth. On a machine as tall and as long as the Multistrada V4 RS, that margin gets expensive quickly.
Competition wears parts faster than the road does, and pads sit near the top of the list. People who spend weekends inside the fence check what is left after every outing, glance at the disc surface while the wheel is out, and change both sides of the front axle together so that the two calipers work with matching material. Heat ages the fluid as well; a season of circuit riding is reason enough to look at that too.
Fitment and Compatibility
Accossato's list covers the front wheel of the Multistrada V4 RS for 2024, 2025 and 2026. Since a caliper hangs on each side, a complete change is two boxes rather than one. No rear article and no disc appear in the catalogue against this version, and the rest of the Multistrada V4 family is filed separately, so a different variant needs its own lookup before anything is ordered.
Road Approval
There is no ABE for AGPA106EV2 in our documents and no German test report behind it. The material is a racing one and we sell it accordingly, for closed circuits and organised competition.
Scope of Delivery
One box, two AGPA106 pads in the EV2 racing material, enough for a single front caliper. Plan on a pair of boxes if both sides are being done at once, which on a front axle they should be.
