Some machines make the one-way journey: number boards where the lights used to be, a set of wheels that never sees a public road again, and a trailer as the only means of transport. A Multistrada 950 is an unusual candidate for that, but people do it, and once a bike lives at circuits the choice of pad material changes. EV2 racing is Accossato's competition compound, and article AGPA177EV2 presses it onto the AGPA177 front pad. The listing covers 2017 to 2021.

Construction and Material Quality
Accossato describes this material in four words and lets the use explain the rest. Competition is where a friction layer is asked to give the same answer on the last lap of a session as on the first, with no cooling period anywhere in between, and where the penalty for a soft lever is counted in lost corners rather than in inconvenience. The plate is the AGPA177, identical throughout the article, which is why a rider can build a shelf of spares around a single part number.
A Bike That Stops Being a Road Bike
A motorcycle that lives on a trailer gets treated differently. Nobody worries much about how it behaves cold, because it is never cold when it matters; the first proper application of the day comes at the end of an out lap. Servicing happens to a schedule rather than when something feels wrong, and pads are changed because the sessions used them up, not because an inspection found them thin. A Multistrada 950 prepared this way is a heavy thing to ride quickly, and the front brake is what the rider leans on hardest.
Keep the routine tight. Log how many sessions a set has done and change it before it becomes interesting. Bed new material in on an out lap and a cool-down rather than at the end of the straight. Look at the discs each time the calipers are off, since a scored face will ruin a fresh set quickly. Check the fluid between meetings. And after every change, work the lever until it is hard before the bike leaves the garage.
Fitment and Compatibility
The AGPA177 is quoted by Accossato for the front of the Multistrada 950 from 2017 through to 2021, with the 950 and the 950 S both named in the version list. Two calipers share the front wheel and each wants its own box. At the rear the AGPA93 covers the same years, and the DKS053 is the disc offered for this model. Machines outside those five seasons are not part of the entry.
Road Approval
No ABE and no German test certificate exist here for the AGPA177EV2, which sits comfortably with its purpose: a pad for competition and for closed courses.
