DescriptionThe whole story▼
Hard stops are a skill, and skills get practised somewhere safe. A closed airfield course, a rider training day, a club sprint: places where a CFMOTO CL-C 450 is hauled down from real speed twenty times in an afternoon with cones instead of traffic to worry about. Accossato's EV2 racing material is made for work of that severity, and it is available on the AGPA96 front plate for the CL-C 450 of 2024, 2025 and 2026.
Key Features
- Front pads in the EV2 racing material, article number AGPA96EV2
- For the CFMOTO CL-C 450 of the 2024, 2025 and 2026 seasons
- Accossato's competition material, not a commuting one
- Same carrier and outline as the other AGPA96 article numbers
- Alternatives on that carrier: OR, ST, EV1 and ZXC
- One box of two pads per caliper
- The rear axle of this cruiser is covered by the AGPP181
- No German ABE in our files; for closed courses and competition
Construction and Material Quality
Accossato's own description of this material is a single claim: it is the competition mixture at the top of the pad range. We would rather quote that plainly than decorate it. Something formulated in this way is built for repeated, heavy pressure and for holding its manners as a run heats up, and the price of that is a material with no interest whatever in the first gentle stop of a cold morning. The carrier beneath it is the ordinary AGPA96, so nothing about the installation changes.
Stop After Stop on a Closed Course
An afternoon of stopping practice resembles nothing on the public road. The CL-C 450 is brought up to a set speed, halted at a marked point and ridden straight back to do it again, with barely a minute in between for anything to cool. Under that treatment a front brake shows whatever weakness it has: a lever creeping towards the grip, or a bite arriving later on the tenth run than on the second. Consistency is the entire purpose of the exercise, so the components have to supply it.
A day like that also rewards a proper look over the machine beforehand. Fluid that has sat in the system for years has no business being there, and neither does a pad already worn to the point where you would have replaced it next month anyway. Give new material its bedding-in early, with stops that grow firmer rather than one enormous effort. Start with a clean, dry disc, let the front cool with the bike rolled off the brake between runs, and assess pad thickness at the end of the day instead of the beginning of the next one.
Fitment and Compatibility
This article number belongs to the front wheel of the CFMOTO CL-C 450 built in 2024, 2025 and 2026. Accossato does not extend the AGPA96 to any other model, and neither will we. One caliper equals one box, both of its pads are changed at the same time, and a glance at your own front wheel decides how much to order. The AGPP181 is the rear pad for the same three seasons of this cruiser, and there is no Accossato disc for the CL-C 450.
Road Approval
We have no German ABE for the AGPA96EV2 and no test documentation of any kind. The pad is supplied for competition and closed-course use, away from public traffic.
Scope of Delivery
