DescriptionThe whole story▼
A Moto Guzzi Norge 1200 can be ridden with surprising pace on a mountain road, and riders who do that tend to use the rear brake actively to settle the bike before each bend. For them Accossato lists the AGPA29 rear pad in the EV1 street/track compound, which gives a sharper response than a touring pad and keeps working when used hard. The catalogue covers Norge models from 2006 to 2019.

Construction and Material Quality
EV1 is Accossato's compound for fast road riding and occasional amateur track use, where the manufacturer promises excellent grip. On the rear of a Norge, that means a more immediate response when the pedal is pressed to settle the bike before a bend, and a pad that tolerates the heat of hard riding. Accossato also claims low wear and good fade resistance for its pads.
A Sport Tourer Ridden as a Sport Bike
Some Norge riders enjoy the bike's ability to cover mountain roads quickly as much as its comfort. For them, EV1 gives a more precise rear brake that makes it easier to trim speed mid-corner. The OR and ST versions of AGPA29 are the calmer touring options, while STMX is for gravel.
After fitting, pump the pedal until firm and bed the pads in with gradually harder stops. Keep an eye on the lining, because sporty riding wears pads faster.
Fitment and Compatibility
Accossato's catalogue lists AGPA29 for the Norge 1200 from 2006 to 2014, the Norge 1200 GT from 2010 to 2019 and the GT 8V from 2010 to 2013. One box fits the single rear caliper. Our data does not list other Accossato pads or discs for the Norge. Measure or at least inspect the rear disc before fitting new pads; a worn or lipped disc will stop fresh linings from bedding in evenly on the Norge.
Road Approval
No German ABE or approval document has been supplied to us, so this rear pad is sold for competition and track use.
