On road tyres the KTM 890 Adventure R Rally becomes an entertaining tool for winding tarmac, and an enthusiastic rider will use both brakes to shape each corner. Accossato's AGPA29 rear pad in its EV1 street/track mixture fits the 890 Adventure R Rally of model year 2024. It is for owners who ride briskly on country roads, like a keen rear response and may also try an amateur track day or a club event.

Construction and Material Quality
Accossato gives EV1 a clear brief: excellent grip for street riding and amateur circuit use. On the rear that means a pedal that responds quickly and communicates clearly, rather than a soft, delayed bite. The company also notes that its pads limit heat build-up to fight fade and that they last well. The EV1 layer is bonded to the usual AGPA29 plate.
A Sharper Rear for Tarmac
Experienced road riders use the rear brake to steady the bike on the way into a bend and to tighten the line mid-corner. On a machine with long suspension like the Rally, that technique calms the chassis noticeably, provided the pedal response is prompt and consistent. A street/track mixture gives that direct feel, and it carries on working when the bike is taken to a small circuit for the day.
After fitting, pump the pedal until it is firm, then bed the pads in with several gradually harder stops. Keep chain lube well away from the rear disc, and look at the pad depth each time you adjust the chain tension.
Fitment and Compatibility
Accossato gives the 2024 KTM 890 Adventure R Rally as the only application of AGPA29 for this variant, at the rear. Its front partner is AGPA96, and no disc from the brand is offered. Hold the old pad next to the new one to confirm the shape.
Road Approval
We have received no ABE or approval certificate for this EV1 set. It is intended for the track.
