DescriptionThe whole story▼
Riders who push a Honda ST 1300 Pan European along twisting B-roads soon learn how useful the rear brake is for settling the chassis before a corner. Accossato supplies the rear AGPA25 pad for the Pan European from 2002 to 2018, and this article is made in the EV1 street/track mixture. It is for owners with a sporting streak who want a sharper rear pedal on fast roads and who might book a training day at a circuit to explore what the big V4 can do.

Construction and Material Quality
EV1 street/track is Accossato's bridge between the public road and the amateur circuit. The factory says it offers excellent grip in both settings, which makes it a fit for enthusiasts who do most of their riding on the road but want a pad that stays composed under harder use. Accossato also aims for low wear, restrained heating that limits fade and good overall stopping power across its range.
Using the Rear Brake Actively
On a long-wheelbase tourer, a light touch on the rear pedal while entering a corner calms the suspension and tightens the line without upsetting the front tyre. Sporting riders use this technique constantly on flowing roads. A pad with a quick, clear response makes the effect easier to dose. At training courses and track days the rear brake also helps during slow-speed drills and at the end of the pit lane. Check the rear disc for wear marks and make sure the caliper slides freely before such a day, so the Pan European is ready for repeated use.
Fitment and Compatibility
Accossato assigns the AGPA25 to the rear of the Honda ST 1300 Pan European for the years 2002 to 2018, in the standard and ABS version. The front of the 2008 to 2018 ABS model takes the Accossato AGPA87. A single box is enough for the rear axle.
Road Approval
This pad set has no ABE or German test document on record with us, so it is offered for use on closed circuits and in competition.
