DescriptionThe whole story▼
Some V-Strom 650 riders discover that the tall Suzuki is surprisingly nimble on a twisty country road, and a few go on to book a first track day just to see what it can do. AGPA95 in the EV1 street/track mixture is the left-hand front pad Accossato offers for the Suzuki DL650 V-Strom from 2004 to 2024. It is aimed at the keen rider who enjoys a brisk Sunday ride and wants a pad that is also comfortable on an occasional circuit outing.
Key Features
- Left front caliper pads for the Suzuki DL650 V-Strom, 2004 to 2024

- Strong grip for spirited road riding, according to Accossato
- Also made for amateur circuit days
- Use together with AGPA94 on the right
- XT from 2015 to 2024 included in the list
- Rear set for the same bike: AGPP88
- No German approval on file; for the track
Construction and Material Quality
EV1 is the compound Accossato positions between the road and the circuit: the company credits it with excellent grip for street riding and for amateur track sessions. It carries the usual Accossato claims too, namely a long service life, restrained heat build-up that helps avoid fade, and strong stopping power once the pad is working.
A First Track Day on the V-Strom
Taking an adventure bike to a circuit is less unusual than it sounds. Novice groups at track days often include a V-Strom 650 or two, and their riders are usually there to learn lines and practise hard stops in a safe place. An EV1 pad fits that plan because it still behaves sensibly on the ride to the track and back. On the day itself, bleed the brakes beforehand if the fluid is old, bed in fresh pads on the road first, and give the calipers a few cool-down laps before parking. Between sessions, check that the lever has not grown soft.
Back on country roads, the same pads reward a smooth, progressive squeeze at corner entry rather than a sudden grab.
Fitment and Compatibility
The V-Strom 650 uses two front calipers with mirrored pad shapes. This box is AGPA95 for the left-hand side, and the right-hand caliper needs AGPA94. Accossato lists the DL 650 V-Strom from 2004 to 2024 and the XT version from 2015 to 2024. Other mixtures on the same left-hand plate are OR, ST, EV2 and ZXC.
Road Approval
AGPA95EV1 comes without ABE or any German inspection paperwork in our hands, so it is sold for use on closed circuits.
