DescriptionThe whole story▼
With its electronically managed suspension, the MT-10 SP is a naturally capable bike on a fast road and at a track day. Riders who want the front brake to match that ability can fit Accossato's AGPA97EV1, the front pad for the SP from 2017 to 2024 in the EV1 street/track compound. It gives a firmer initial bite than the everyday materials, while still being designed to work on the road, so an SP owner can ride to the circuit, lap it, and ride home on the same pads.

Construction and Material Quality
EV1 is Accossato's road-and-circuit compound, described by the company as delivering excellent grip for road riding and amateur track use. It sits between the everyday materials and the racing ones. On the SP it uses the standard AGPA97 plate. Accossato's aim of limiting heat to hold off fade applies here as with every compound.
Using the SP's Track Settings
Many SP owners experiment with the suspension's sportier modes when they visit a circuit, and the brakes deserve the same attention. A firmer suspension setting holds the bike more level under hard braking, which lets the rider use more of the front tyre's grip, and a pad with a stronger bite makes that grip easier to access. EV1 is designed to deliver it while remaining usable on the ride home. Before the event, flush the brake fluid, check the discs and fit pads with ample material. Start with conservative braking markers and move them later gradually. At the end of the day, let the brakes cool before loading the bike or riding off.
Fitment and Compatibility
The AGPA97 appears in Accossato's catalogue for the front of the Yamaha MT-10 SP over 2017 to 2024, and the AGPP88 for the rear. Twin front calipers call for two boxes, fitted together. Clean each piston, inspect the discs and use fresh fluid. There are no Accossato discs listed for the SP. Bed in the pads on the road before the track day.
Road Approval
No German ABE or test documents for the AGPA97EV1 are available to us, so this pad is offered for track and competition use.
