DescriptionThe whole story▼
Some SV650X riders never go near a circuit; others spend their Sundays hunting good bends and eventually book a first trackday. For the second group, Accossato offers the AGPA75 front pad in the EV1 street/track compound. It fits the Suzuki SV650X built from 2019 to 2024 and is meant for committed road riders who want more bite from the front and a pad that also copes with a few sessions on track.
Key Features
- AGPA75 front pad for the SV650X, model years 2019 to 2024
- EV1 street/track compound, SKU AGPA75EV1
- Accossato: strong grip for road riding and amateur track use
- Firmer initial bite than a commuter pad
- Holds up through a trackday session
- Low wear and resistance to fade
- Two pads for one caliper per box
Construction and Material Quality
Accossato describes EV1 as a compound with excellent grip on the road and for amateur use on track. It sits between everyday touring pads and pure race mixtures: sharper than a commuter compound, yet still usable on a cold morning ride to the circuit. The Turin firm adds that its pads resist fade by limiting heat and wear slowly while delivering high stopping power.
From Twisty Roads to a First Trackday
The SV650X invites spirited riding: a willing V-twin, a low front end and a chassis that likes to be leaned. On a fast country road or during a novice session at a track, the front brake is asked to stop hard from speed again and again. EV1 is built for that step up. It gives a clearer bite at the lever and keeps its response through repeated hard stops, while still working on the ride home. If the SV650X is your road bike and your occasional track toy, this is the compound designed for both roles.
Fitment and Compatibility
Accossato lists AGPA75 for the front of the SV 650 X between 2019 and 2024. Because the SV650X has twin front calipers, two boxes complete the front axle. The 2018 bike takes AGPA95 and AGPA94 instead, one per side, and the rear pad is AGPP185 for 2018 to 2024. The same plate also comes as OR, ST and EV2. Clean the pistons before pressing them back, and bed the new pads in with progressively firmer stops.
Road Approval
There is no ABE or type certificate for AGPA75EV1 in our records; it is sold for motorsport use.
