DescriptionThe whole story▼
Few bikes are as much fun on a twisty road as a Suzuki SV650, and the 2019 to 2024 generation is a regular sight at trackday organisers' novice groups. For riders who push their SV650 on back roads and are heading for a first circuit day, Accossato offers the AGPA75 front pad in the EV1 street/track compound, SKU AGPA75EV1. It gives a firmer, more direct bite than an everyday pad and can be used on the ride to the circuit as well as during the sessions.
Key Features
- AGPA75 front pad for the Suzuki SV650, 2019 to 2024
- EV1 street/track compound, SKU AGPA75EV1
- Accossato: excellent grip for road riding and amateur track days
- Firmer first bite for late braking
- Consistent through a series of hard stops
- For novice trackday groups
- OR, ST and EV2 are also available
- No ABE on file; sold for track use
Construction and Material Quality
Accossato describes EV1 street/track as giving excellent grip on the road and for amateur track use. It bridges the gap between the everyday compounds and the pure racing pad. Slow wear and limited heat build-up are part of its design, which matters when the brakes are used hard for an entire session.
Back Roads and Novice Sessions
The SV650's light handling tempts riders to brake later and later on their favourite road. EV1 gives the stronger initial bite and consistent feel needed for this style of riding. At a trackday, in a novice group, the same pad copes with twenty minutes of hard braking without losing its effect.
Many riders keep EV1 in the calipers all season, because it works on the road and at the occasional track day.
Trackday Checklist
Bleed the brakes with fresh fluid before the event, check both sets of pads and clean the discs. After each session, let the brakes cool on the in-lap and never park with the lever tied down while the discs are hot. On the ride home, remember that tired hands and hot tyres call for a calmer pace.
Fitment and Compatibility
Accossato's catalogue lists AGPA75 for the front of the SV 650 from 2019 to 2024. With two front calipers, the SV650 needs two boxes for a full change. For the rear of this generation Accossato names AGPP185.
Road Approval
We hold no ABE or German approval for AGPA75EV1; the pad is supplied for circuit use.
Scope of Delivery
