Plenty of Brutale 1090 RR owners ride quick on country roads and book one or two track days a year. This front pad set in EV1 street/track compound fits the MV Agusta Brutale 1090 RR from 2010 to 2017 and the Corsa from 2014 to 2016, and it was chosen for exactly that rider: brisk on the road, curious about the circuit, and not yet ready for a pure racing pad.

Construction and Material Quality
Accossato positions EV1 as a street and track compound that offers excellent grip on the road and in amateur circuit use. It sits between the everyday mixtures and the dedicated racing ones. The maker also underlines, for all its pads, a slow rate of wear, reduced fade through limited heat build-up and high stopping power. For a naked four like the Brutale 1090, that balance is the point: one pad that covers the ride to the circuit, the sessions on it and the ride home.
From Back Roads to Your First Track Day
A first track day on a Brutale 1090 RR usually follows years of fast riding on favourite roads. The braking demands jump: you brake later, harder and more often. EV1 is designed for that step without making the bike awkward on the way there. On the road it gives clear feedback, and in a novice or intermediate group it handles repeated stops from speed. Riders who later enter club races often move on to the EV2 or ZXC compound, while those who stay on the road often prefer ST.
Setting Up for the Circuit
Fit new pads on both front calipers together and bed them in on the road before the event. Check disc condition and fluid, and consider fresh fluid before a track day. Clean the pistons, keep the discs grease-free and pump the lever until it is solid before the first session.
Fitment and Compatibility
Two versions are covered by this pad, AGPA106: the RR edition of the Brutale 1090, built 2010 through 2017, and the Corsa, built 2014 through 2016. Owners of the plain R edition from 2012 to 2015 need AGPA96 at the front instead, so a quick look at the registration papers saves a return. On the back wheel the bike takes AGPA118. Accossato further catalogues disc DKS020 for this MV Agusta. Since a pair of calipers grips the front discs, a complete front job uses two boxes.
Road Approval
Because no test certificate or German approval (ABE or test mark) is on file for this pad, it is sold for circuit and competition use only.
