DescriptionThe whole story▼
A light 250 is at its happiest on a twisty road or a tight circuit, and the KTM RC4R 250 invites that kind of riding. Accossato's AGPA96 front pad in the EV1 street/track mixture fits the RC4R 250 of model year 2020. It is for riders who enjoy brisk road riding and occasional amateur track days, who want a sharper front bite than an everyday pad provides and who prefer not to swap pads between the two.

Construction and Material Quality
EV1 is described by Accossato as giving excellent grip for street riding and amateur circuit sessions. It sits between the everyday and the race-only compounds on this plate. The company also states that its pads limit heat to reduce fade and that they wear slowly. The EV1 face is bonded to the standard AGPA96 plate.
Brisk Riding on a Light 250
Riding a light bike quickly is about keeping momentum. The rider brakes late and briefly, then rolls into the corner with plenty of speed. A pad that bites immediately and communicates clearly makes that easier, because the rider knows exactly how much deceleration each squeeze produces. On a circuit, where the brake is used hard several times a lap, a street/track compound keeps its feel from session to session.
Before a track day, change the fluid if it is old and check the pads for thickness. Bed in a new set on the road with progressively firmer stops. On the day, start the first session at a moderate pace and let tyres and pads come up to temperature together; the sharper character of this compound shows once everything is working in its window.
Fitment and Compatibility
Accossato lists AGPA96 for the front of the KTM RC4R 250, model year 2020, under the designation RC 250 4R. AGPP91 is the corresponding rear pad. No disc is catalogued. Count the front calipers and compare the old and new pads before fitting.
Road Approval
No ABE or official approval exists for AGPA96EV1 in our files. It is sold for circuit use.
