DescriptionThe whole story▼
With lower bars and a small fairing, the Kawasaki Z900RS Cafe invites a sportier riding style than the standard RS, and some owners take that invitation all the way to a trackday. Accossato's AGPA109 front pads in the EV1 street/track compound are listed for the Cafe from 2018 to 2021. EV1 street/track suits a rider who wants a crisp front brake for quick road riding and who is curious to see how the bike feels on a circuit.
Key Features
- EV1 street/track compound, front position
- Kawasaki Z900RS Cafe, 2018 to 2021
- Crisp bite for sporty road riding
- Designed to handle amateur track sessions
- Low wear and controlled heating aimed for by Accossato
- Two pads in the box for one caliper
- AGPP88 rear pad listed for the same years
Construction and Material Quality
EV1 street/track, says Accossato, is a mix with excellent grip for street riding and for amateur use on track. On a café racer that is ridden with a bit of spirit, it sharpens the front brake without turning it into a race-only part. Accossato's roots go back to 1969 in Moncalieri, and the company still names slow wear, long pad life and controlled heating among the goals for everything it makes, which matters when stops come thick and fast.
The Café Racer Goes to the Circuit
Café racers were born from riders racing between cafés on public roads, and taking a Z900RS Cafe onto a proper circuit is the modern and much safer version of that idea. On track, the front brake is used hard and often. EV1 street/track is built for that step up while still working well on the ride there. Bed in the pads on the road beforehand, fit fresh fluid and check the lever feel. Take the first sessions steadily, look at the pads between runs and allow the brakes to cool after the last session. Then enjoy the ride home on the same pads.
Fitment and Compatibility
Accossato lists the AGPA109 for the front brake of the Z 900 RS CAFE (2018-2021). Two front calipers mean two boxes for a complete front change. The rear pad listed for the Cafe is the AGPP88, and the DK236 disc is listed too. The AGPA109 shape also comes as Sintered (ST), EV2 racing and ZXC ceramic racing.
Road Approval
Our records do not include an ABE or test mark for these pads, so they are offered for racing and competition use.
