DescriptionThe whole story▼
Small bikes are wonderful teachers of corner speed, and a Husqvarna Svartpilen 125 ridden with intent on a twisty back road can be enormous fun. For owners who have started to brake later, who eye up a kart circuit open day or a first club track session, Accossato makes the AGPA184 front pad in its EV1 street/track compound, SKU AGPA184EV1. The listing covers model years 2021 to 2025. It is meant for keen riders who want a more assertive bite than a commuter pad offers.
Key Features
- EV1 street/track front pads for the Husqvarna Svartpilen 125
- Model years 2021 to 2025, SKU AGPA184EV1
- Accossato rates its grip highly for spirited road riding and amateur circuit days
- Firm response when you brake deeper into a bend
- Good choice for a first track outing on a light bike
- Pad shape also sold as OR and ST
- No approval papers held, motorsport use
Construction and Material Quality
Accossato developed EV1 for two jobs at once: fast riding on public roads and hobby sessions on a circuit, and the company says it grips very well in both. On a Svartpilen 125 that means a front brake with more initial bite and a firmer feel as the lever travels, so you can trust it when approaching a hairpin a little quicker than usual. The compound is carried on the familiar AGPA184 plate, and the maker notes a long life and resistance to fade when the pads get hot.
From Back Roads to a First Track Day
A lightweight single rewards carrying speed, and the brakes decide how late you dare to turn in. EV1 gives the Svartpilen 125 a clearer signal through the lever, which helps when you are learning to trail the brake gently towards the apex. On a short circuit or a kart track, where one lap brings many hard stops, the pads keep working without the spongy feeling a soft compound can develop.
Before the session, bed the new pair in with a handful of progressively harder stops, check the fluid level and inspect the disc for scoring.
Fitment and Compatibility
Accossato assigns AGPA184 to the front brake of the Husqvarna Svartpilen 125 for 2021 to 2025. The rear pad for this machine is AGPP91. Riders who mainly commute can pick OR, and ST is there for wet-weather use. Confirm the outline against your worn pads and check how many calipers the front of your Svartpilen 125 uses.
Road Approval
We have no ABE or test documentation for this EV1 set, so it is supplied for circuit and competition riding.
