DescriptionThe whole story▼
Not every Husqvarna FE 250 lives in the forest. Some owners take their enduro bike to hard-pack practice days, to closed circuits for amateur events or to hobby races on firm ground. For riders who want sharper front braking in those settings, Accossato lists the AGPA29 front pad in its EV1 street/track compound, catalogued for the FE 250 from 2014 to 2023. The brand says EV1 offers excellent grip for street riding and amateur track use, which makes it a choice for committed riders who push hard on firm surfaces.
Key Features
- EV1 street/track front pads for the Husqvarna FE 250, 2014 to 2023
- Accossato promises high grip for street and amateur track use
- For hard-pack practice days and closed circuits
- Firmer initial bite for ambitious hobby racers
- Built on the AGPA29 front plate
- Two pads per box for one caliper
- No German ABE; for closed-course riding
Construction and Material Quality
EV1 is the AGPA29 compound Accossato sets up for grip on firm surfaces. The company's claim covers street riding and amateur circuit use, which translates to a stronger initial bite and consistent deceleration at speed. On an FE 250 taken to hard-surface days, the difference is noticeable compared with the softer mixes. The friction material is bonded to the same AGPA29 plate as the other compounds.
From the Woods to the Circuit
Enduro riders who try a hard-surface day for the first time often find the front brake doing much more than they expect. With good tyre grip, the fork dives further and the pads get hotter. Before that first outing, check the brake fluid and make sure the disc is clean. Bed in new pads with several progressive stops, then build up to hard braking gradually. After the session, check the pads for even wear. If you return to muddy trails afterwards, remember that EV1 was designed with firm ground in mind and consider whether another compound suits your next ride better.
Fitment and Compatibility
Accossato catalogues this front pad for the Husqvarna FE 250 from 2014 to 2023. Model years after 2023 are not in the list for this pad. The rear pad for the bike is the AGPP80, and the brand also offers DK017 and DK018 discs. The same plate is also sold as OR, ST and STMX. The FE 250 has one front caliper; one box fills it.
Road Approval
We hold no ABE or test certificate for these pads. They are supplied for motorsport and closed-track riding.
